Aspen, Colorado

Aspen, Colorado is a year round resort located in Western Colorado, approximately 40 miles Southeast of Glenwood Springs via Highway 82. The city lies on the North side of Independence Pass, closed October thru May of each year.

Highway 82 is the throughway and the Roaring Fork River flows through town.

Aspen and it's immediate neighbor Snowmass Village are the location of four distinct ski areas:

Glenwood Springs is the home of Sunlight Ski Area.

Aspen's neighboring towns are: Basalt, El Jebel, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs and Marble
