Delta, Colorado

Delta lies approximately 85 miles NE of Telluride in Delta County at the confluence of the Uncompahgre and Gunnison rivers. The Gunnison then flows north into the Colorado River at Grand Junction so named for where these two rivers meet. Delta is an agricultural area and has abundant recreation opportunities

Highway 50 and 550 runs north and south through the heart of Delta. Highway 85 runs east to provide access to Ekert, Cedaredge, Austin, Paonia, Hotchkiss and Crawford then over McClure Pass, paralleling the Crystal River to Carbondale in the Roaring Fork Valley.
